Pot lids are usually the hardest thing to store in a kitchen because they take up way too much room and rattle around inside deep drawers. Sticking a lid holder onto a cabinet door or wall gets them out of the way using space you aren't already using. You won't have to pull out three heavy skillets just to reach the one lid you need for dinner. Having your lids lined up near the stove makes cooking a lot faster when a pot starts to boil over. It stops lids from getting scratched up and keeps your cookware cabinets much neater.
